So Amanda's (my beautiful wife) birthday is tomorrow, January 23rd. That statement is great for a couple reasons. First, I remembered. I have a knack for forgetting dates. That's not something I'm proud of, but it is what it is. Second, I remembered this year! I bought a card last week and already got her a gift. I'm not here to "toot my own horn", but I can't (and I'm certain my lovely wife can't) remember the last time I was on the ball in this particular arena. Our household is very busy with work, school, ministries, website maintenance, etc...we are always on the go. We still find time for each other, but I definitely could do better.
Significant dates and milestones should be remembered but you should always remember to tell your spouse, family member, and friends that you appreciate and love them. It's human nature to enjoy receiving a thank you and it's in the Bible (1 Timothy 2:1; 2 Corinthians 9:11; Ephesians 5:20).
I would now like to take this opportunity to "Thank You" for visiting RevJeremy.org frequently and keeping up-to-date on all that I do.
God bless you all!
